The Totally Worth It Show
With Bruce, Wayne, and Dick on 95.1 WVUR
Meet the Hosts
Author: DickJanuary 11th, 2010
Erik Nelson
Codename: Wayne
Erik Nelson is a freshman at Valparaiso University, undecided in his major. Besides The Totally Worth it Show, Erik is a member of Valpo’s ballroom competition team. He enjoys long walks on the beach, and — wait… This isn’t a singles profile.
Although Erik is pictured here sporting a slight beard and mustache, he has since shaved. Not that it really matters, because this is a radio show, so this picture to the left is one of the few times you’ll actually get to see him.
Erik’s role on the show is to run the sound board and computer, and try not to say “Umm…” so often. He’s gotten quite good at the first two items, but he’s still working on the third. Luckily, he has funny input sometimes, and messes up often enough that we can make fun of him on the air.
It’s all in good fun, Erik!
Josh Leong
Codename: Bruce
Josh Leong is also a freshman at Valparaiso University (are you seeing a trend here?), majoring in… You know what? I don’t remember. I’ll have to ask him the next time I see him. For now, this blurb is just a little funny part of his profile.
While he appears to be asian, this is only half true (he’s half-asian… get it?). He is mediocre at the game of ping-pong and is quite often seen eating with a fork and spoon instead of chopsticks. It should also be noted that Josh is in love with batman.
Josh’s role on the show is definitely comedic relief, and helping in music choice. A lot of the time, he just gets to sit there and look pretty, which is odd because, once again, this is a radio show, and you don’t normally get to see him.
Bobby Graese
Codename: Dick
The most recent addition to the show, Bobby Graese is also a freshman at Valparaiso University (go figure), majoring in Computer Engineering. In his free time, Bobby enjoys “nerding it up” in his dorm room, and writing blog posts. Sorry ladies, he’s taken.
Bobby is also seen sporting some facial hair, which disappears from time to time whenever he decides to finally shave. At this point, he would also like to take a moment to insert a shameless link to his personal blog: http://truejournals.com. Bobby happens to be the webmaster for The Totally Worth it Show’s website.
Bobby’s role on the show is to make fun of Erik when he messes up, thereby contributing to the comedic relief. Bobby also picks some of the music to play, and just enjoys being on the radio.
